Property owners are responsible to see that their property is properly assessed and taxed, and to request the appropriate tax bills if they have not received them by mail. Real Estate Taxes owed to the Township and School District are due according to the following schedule: Changes in occupancy must be reported to the Tax Office within one month of the new or changed occupancy. Registration forms must be provided to the Tax Office annually by June 30. Tenant registration is required by all property owners. A mill is 1/1000 of a dollar of total assessed property value in the Township.
